President’s Message
David L. Larson, M.D.

As I write this message for the spring AAPS Newsletter, it is only another month or so (at least in Wisconsin) before the cold and winter will be gone and spring and the annual meeting of the AAPS will be upon us. I hope this note finds you all in good health and anxious for (arguably) the academic highlight of the year, the annual meeting of the American Association of Plastic Surgeons, April 20-23.

A Message from Your Executive Director

I join with Dr. Larson and the AAPS leadership in urging you to finalize your plans to join us at the beautiful Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans for the Association’s 92nd Annual Meeting. This year’s meeting promises the highest quality science, stimulating panels, and a top-quality poster session with a very select Resident Poster Competition. The Association had a record-breaking number of abstracts submitted this year, and the caliber of the submissions is reflected in each scientific presentation you will see in New Orleans.

Last chance to get your name on the 1/10/100 Wall of Fame!

As the Association enters the second year of its 5-year Development Campaign to fully fund the Academic Scholar Awards, the AAPS will once again feature a Development Booth where members can make pledges and donations to the ongoing campaign. All members who have previously committed to the Association, as well as those who have made pledges, donations and bequests over the past year will be recognized on signage throughout the booth.
